What does a Financial Controller do?
The Financial Controller provides overall management to Accounts Receivable,
Credit and Collections, Payroll and the Senior Accountant who has responsibility
for General Ledger Administration, Accounts Payable and the Financial
Accountant.
What qualifications and experience does the hospital require?
- Bachelors degree in finance or accounting
- Five to eight years of senior level governmental, audit or healthcare
experience.
- Certified as a Chartered Accountant or Certified Public Accountant
and possess membership in an appropriate professional organization.
- Demonstrate considerable knowledge of the laws and accreditation
standards applicable to hospitals.
