What does a Speech Language Pathologist do?

A Speech Language Pathologist works with patients who have speech, language, voice, fluency or swallowing disorders. Perform examinations, tests, and evaluations as well as provide treatment. Identifies and evaluates speech and language disorders. Plans and directs therapy for speech impairments. Conducts speech and language research. Provides educational, medical and professional consultation as required.

What qualifications and experience does the hospital require?
