Dana-Farber Cancer Institute

A newly forged relationship with this world-renowned centre of excellence for cancer treatment will enable BHB’s Oncology Team to leverage the depth and breadth of expertise that a large, specialist cancer centre can provide and improve access to care on-island. Over time, BHB’s Oncology Team and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) will collaborate to establish different organ-based cancer programmes that will review epidemiology, screening and access to care and will pave the way for clinical advisors to visit Bermuda from DFCI. The first two programmes to be implemented are Prostate Cancer and Breast Cancer.
