Alzheimer’s & Dementia Unit

This locked unit, the only one of its kind in Bermuda, has 29 beds, one of which is reserved for respite care for up to four weeks at a time. Residents are cared for by eight nurses and eleven aides and orderlies. The unit also includes the hospital chapel and an attractive garden with benches. Alzheimer's Family Support Group holds meetings for caregivers family and friends every 2nd Tuesday in each month in CCU Activities Department KEMH.
