Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP)
Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP) begins with a clinically intensive intervention which may include individual, group and family counseling services, education and supportive services. These are provided in a structured environment for a minimum of 20 hours per week. The IOP 15-day programme is conducted from Monday through Friday between 10:00am and 4:00pm. It includes drug education and individual/group counseling. The client’s needs for psychiatric and medical services are arranged through consultation and referral.
